The Eurovision Song Contest

I blogged about how much I was missing the Eurovision Song Contest a few years ago when I was living in Dubai and none of the TV stations that I could receive could recognise its global cultural significance. So now I'm back in Europe, and it's looking like it'll be a closely-run contest between Ireland's Dustin The Turkey.

And Spain's Chiki-Chiki.

Analytical interview here.

Life's just grand.

My money's on Dustin to win...

...and for President.

You know his mock candidacy for the Irish elections forced a national recount? The guy's a natural winner!!! :)

KB: Having moved back from Europe a year ago, my moments reminiscing about my past spent there have always been content. Up until now. Now, do I remember the shit-sandwich that was the Eurovision competition. Now, thanks to you, do I have to face reoccurring nightmares of a candy-floss clad Katie Price *attempting* to sing.

What nice comments!!!European people should be really strange at your eyes...Yo no soy española pero vivo en Madrid y ver la visión de la ciudad de una persona que tiene otra cultura lejana de la Europea es realmente interesante. sorry for my orrible english :P
