Google accidentally unveiled their new Microsoft-killer yesterday. Today it's available, and I've just downloaded it. It's called Google Chrome, and it's a web browser. I've been using it for about ten minutes, and I'm in lurve. As a web designer, I have to have lots of browsers kicking around for testing, but I suspect that Chrome is going to become my default browser. It's simple-looking, but very clever, and the reason I love it more than any other is that it is not made by Microsoft: it is not part of the operating system, and it costs me nothing.

I just downloaded it earlier and it looks interesting, but the same reasons that you give for loving it could just as well be said about Firefox, which has much more going for it at this point. (Just one example: it is available for Macs and Linux, unlike Chrome.) I'm going to keep an eye on it though.

Oh. BTW. They've updated the EULA. They no longer own your children if you use Chrome...
GG, Alexander, The Register now says that the offending clause on copyright has been amended, and Google no longer claims to own all content on the internet. Yeah, right.
sounds good.. but firefox works fine for me... however i wanna try this chrome.. :)
