Tybalt & Theo

Here it is, then. The beginnings of my new book, Tybalt & Theo.

Here's the blurb:

Theo has just lost his bank 97 million pounds. The global finance industry is in meltdown. He thinks he is going to lose his job, one way or the other. A chance accident sends him hurtling towards certain death at Newgate Underground station, but when he wakes up, he finds himself very much alive, in Newgate Gaol. In 1608.

Meanwhile, Tybalt finds himself propelled forward from 1608 into a world he cannot understand. He discovers the dubious delights of fast food, appears on stage at the Globe and fails to find his good friend Will Shakspere.

Here's the cover:

And here's where you can read the first 10,000-odd words.

Ooooooh you shameless plugger, you!

Space is stuck at 6... Grrrrr... But it's now No.1 Thriller!

Did I tell you we had some problems with 'real people' from Dubai voting because of the crazy IP setup here?

Will go and tussle with Tybalt asap!

But yes, isn't writing fun?

I commented on Autonomy but remembered to add but one small thing: losing 25m is nothing. That's all in a morning's trading, according to a friend in the City. Make that 97 or 153m. That would be more believably suicidal.

ALexander, you know I learned the art of Shameless Plugging from you!

And Real Nick, thanks for stopping by at Authonomy. And I've changed the amount to 97 mil.

It's clearly got a topical link into the crisis, and that should last long enough to let you finish it - as well as giving many others more time to spend reading books.

Very 'high concept'! I look forward to reading the Authonomy excerpt.

keefie, how long will it be on Autonomy? I have a feeling that I'm going to kill a particularly nasty, devious, hatefully spiteful cnut Lebanese clerk, who has pissed on my battery big time. Just wondering if T&T will still be available for me to read should I end up in jail?
(Sorry, having a rant. Thank you for the lovely comment on my blog. I think I've reached the end of my tether as far as MAFI goes. I've been back in the Pit for less than a week & I wish I'd never caught that plane. *sigh*)

Jayne: don't kill anybody, ok! It'll be on there indefinitely.
